May 18 was my birthday.
The celebrating started off the Saturday before my birthday. Every day of the week Dan would say in the morning--"Good morning, Happy Birthday Week". Dan made me a cake--double chocolate with extra chocolate/peanut butter frosting. Sunday he had me do a birthday scavenger hunt around the house. He hid little envelopes in different places with messages to me. At each message there was a gift (colored pens, multi color pens for my scriptures, notebook, cake, magnet bracelets, play me any game of my choose with home made popcorn (Dan makes the best popcorn), picnic day, movie and chicken wings and a camera---I was truly spoiled). Right across the road from where we live there are horses. On my birthday I was able to get pictures of one of the new ones to the field.
This little filly was born last year--she's a little over 1 year
And there is the new arrival to the field and family
She looks like she's all legs and nothing more
Later we went on a picnic to Chin Lake, about 45 min north

We ate our picnic that Dan packed for us on the dock of the lake---it was beautiful that day!!! There's Heathy---can't have a party without him---he looks like he's smiling here
