Wheat fields
This is one of the many irrigation tools that the farmers use to water their crops
There are large metal wheels that rool through the fields and stop where it needs to water the crops
Nice close up on wheat ready to harvest
The metal wheels are connected to metal piping with a spigot on the top. The tubes hold water and the spigot it where the water comes out---it comes out like a hose spraying the area
This field is being harvested
The stubble after the harvesting
Wheat harvested before it's place in bales
This is one of my favorite pictures

Beauty is Near
In August my foot got hurt, so I had to take about 3 weeks off from my walks---it was difficult and it made me feel a bit sad not to be walking and seeing the beauty around our community. I decided to see the beauty around me---around where I live--these are pictures taken right from my front porch
Dan's Birthday--Part I Aug 14 2011
We went over to Dan's sisters and brother-in-law's for his birthday--I made him cheese cake with cherries on top
Doesn't he look like naughty little boy?

Glenwood Getting their Groove on
We went to Glenwood for their Pioneer Day Celebration at night
There were fireworks, music, and dancing--what more could you ask for
The community of Glenwood is a very small community even smaller than Raymond----they held their dance in the church's parking lot---it was a ball
Father and daughter dancing---so very cute!!
Hutterites were even dancing--something that you normally don't see
